well today i was being dumb and i shifted 2nd gear rather hard and lost it now i dont have 2nd gear and then i lost first just driving? is my trans fu*ked or what?

also when i was looking under my car to day i happened to notice a little white sticker the said LSD on the rear does my car come with a LSD stock 87 turbo 5speed

if it has a sticker saying LSD then yes you have an LSD

And yes your trans is jacked...it may be rebuildable but will probably be more cost effective to find a used r154.

Now just wondering...why in gods name would you drive the car when you knew you just blew second gear....when you blow a gear large chunks of metal fly all around inside the gear box and proceed to screw everything else....even if it doesn't happen right away oil still flows around and eventually the oil will pick up the pieces when the gears spin......lesson learned I guess...driftmotion has rebuild kits.

aright well my friends friend said its about 300 to rebuild plus parts so will see.

300 to rebuild isnt bad, 300 for a kit 600 total or 300 for a used trans

Well if they warranty is worth $300 then go for it...but if its some bull like 30 days or 1000 miles then would waist my money....I'd rather drop an old trans that hasn't been screwed with....id searching a low mileage trans fromthe junk yards or from these classifeds...infact my transmission was just delivered Monday.....for $225 shipped (w58)

You might have bent or broken the 1-2 shift fork. You need to take it apart to know what is wrong.

it happens... i would say get another r154 and just slap it in there... they dont break too often. mostly due to driver error...

R154 is harder to get than w58. A lot more expensive and in higher demand. A lot more people are looking for r154 to do swap with jz engine.

im in crownsville. i learend my lesson you can shift your supra like a honda. i guess ill just take the motor and tranny out. then i can clean the engine bay and replace all the leaking gaskets.
