Hey guys im currently working on putting a 2jz with 7m electronics in my 87 turbo. The first problem i ran into is i cant figure out this damn throttle body! Is this thing even possible to use in an mk3 with 7m electronics? i cant even get it to open more than 1/4 of the way, oh and theres the second plate in the front that i cant even figure out how to move! I'm thinking it has something to do with traction control? I cant seem to find any info about these things. Also by looking at pics online i'd say that a non traction control one wont even bolt up. What do you guys do?

That's the traction control (the first plate in the front). You will need to eliminate it if you want to run that on 7M electronics. The actual throttle plate is behind that first flap and should work fine once that first one is removed. The first plate normally opens all the way up and stays that way when the car is running, unless you lose traction, then it closes to cut power.

Just keep it open, it won't hurt anything. I still have a non-functioning trac on my 2JZ just to avoid the hassle. We can't use them with our chassis anyways.
