ok, so I got a JDM TPS from a gte from a buddy and it doenst work. The prongs on my ge throttlebody are horizonal, the gte TPS I have has verticle clips. does anyone have any more info that is helpful? thanks.

that would be a pre 89 and a 89+ style you have.

i take it your car's a pre 89 w/ plastic blue lettering

and the TPS you have is a Silver metal back thats Verticle

Yea, its a 87 w/ 89+ moldings. I never thought about the year change. thanks for your help

Alright, were cleared up now.

the motor that was dropped in your car was a 89+.

tps changed then.

so you needa SILVER top one.

not a black top
