Ok guys, I just rpelaced my ISC, im not throwing any codes. But my idle is around 1000-1200 during normal operation. Ive done all of the high idle checks in the TSRM and Haynes manual. Back when I first got this running after a BHG, I had to rpelace the TPS sensor. I knw the TPS is adjustable on the housing, but where should I set it, and could that be my problem?

Think of that as the ultimate in last measures. There are so many other factors which can cause your idle to change that simply adjusting that screw can hide a bigger problem that's just waiting to get worse.

My idle is at 1000 and 1200 with the AC on. The TPS and the ISC are both functioning properly. When the car was idling at 600-700 yesterday I did set the timing to 10 degrees. I hear a hissing near the back of the motor on the intake side. When I spray some carb cleaner back there it does affect the engine. All of the vacuum lines are good. I guess it could be a leak somewhere at the manifold.

I don't remember the specific range, but the idle is supposed to be in the 1000RPM area with the A/C on.
As for the leak could be a gasket, vacuum line (there are some that are hard to see under the manifold) or possibly the ACIS diaphragm.

I sprayed carb cleaner directly on all of the vacuum lines and diaphram. It was all good. I get the carb cleaner stumble when I spray around the #6 cylinder the intake side. I didnt try spraying from underneath the manifold though. So it could be an injector not seated to the head properly (but no gas leaking or gas smell), or a leak at the manifold to the head. But Im sure I torques all of the bolts properly. Maybe I didnt get all the gasket material off or the gasket didnt seat properly. But Ive but almost 1000 miles on it since the BHG, so its gunna have to wait til I get back from SD next weekend.
Well that sucks. Because the injectors with new o rings and propper torque of the fuel rail should insure propper seating. You should probably raise the car up and have a go with carb cleaner from underneath. The filter in front of the starter has a few vac lines on it.

I just got back from SD. The car performed great, very comfortable freeway cruiser. Only problem was my plastic undertray ripped itself off at 80mph. My front bumper was trashed before I even got the car, so the undertray was never attached there.
But anyway, back to the TPS... The car is now very jerky when coming off the throttle, at any speed in any gear. And at lower speeds and gears lightly touching the throttle makes it jerk pretty bad. Im thinking this is related to either my TPS adjustment or the new (used) ISC valve I recently installed. I will play with it some tomorrow or Tuesday and get back to you guys. Let me know if you have any thoughts.
