Toyota Supra 7MGTE knock sensor question

Greets all --

I would like to know if the knock sensors for the turbo (7MGTE) are the same knock sensors for the non-turbo 7MGE engine? I found a great price on ebay for one, $20! Beats the hell out of the dealer price.

Perhaps those of you with knowledge of the parts in question could check this auction for me and help me determine if this is the right part? I really appreciate it!

Also, is it true that the 7MGTE has two knock sensors while the 7MGE only has one? Are all the knock sensors the same? Are they interchangeable?

yes, they are the same, and the GE has one knock sensor. GTE has two. :icon_bigg

ive read that there is a way to use a gm knock sensor on the gte! think i found it at another yoda forum for mr2's. ya have to fab a conector though. hey, $20 out the store seems better than waiting weeks to recive mail:evil2:

what is the advantage of a GM KS?? other than avalability or is that it??
