On a tangent, I did a 4Runner shortblock. This was 1999, and the 4Runner was a '92. It sent the rod through the block. Toyota said we could install a new shortblock, with out charging the customer.

No, the 102 is the correct year, 7m crank block for this car. The 101 could have a 6m or a 7m crank, depending on if it was a late year or early year production.

No, the 101 always has a 6M crank.
