the 2uz. I think nascar uses an engine that is in house. IE No sale to the public. What is it based on I have no clue but it is a toyota built engine incredibly.

Toyota didn't win this race, the companies that sub-contracted the work for them did. I'm sorry, but they just aren't going to impress me with a "in house" designed motor and a bodyshell that looks a bit like a Camry (if you squint).

They haven't done you or I any favors. They designed the car we drive 22 odd years ago, built them and sold them. Then on top of that, they've have had thousands of dollars put back into their pockets through servicing, repairs and parts.
Why should I be proud of something that exploits me?
That's the sole reason I'm not a patriotic person, I don't give a damn if England wins at a sport. The day 69.9% of my Gas money does not go to the government is the day I cheer for the land of Hope and glory...
