The amp goes under the passenger seat. The Subwoofer option goes in the hatch up against the back seats. Saw a TSRM type pic of it somewhere before, I'll try to find it.

Is that an option for the supra? cause that looks like the sub of the late lexus ls400's.

It was optional on 91-92 Supras. I've never seen one factory installed in real life, but they exist, lol.

Not sure where it mounts for sure.

Twin 6" subwoofers? Since when are 6" speakers subwoofers? Honestly I think you're in for a dissapointment with these. Not even worth it for the enclosure.

You're better off getting one really low profile 8" or 10" sub and putting it in the spare tire well.

Personally, I just bought 2 x 8" rockford fosgate subs that are only 4" mounting depth, and require only 0.25cu feet each. I'm mounting them on the panels behind the doors in the back seat area out of custom fiberglass. They'll stick out a bit maybe 6-7" making it slightly uncomfortable for someone to sit back there, but I had 6.5" speakers in there before that stuck out 5" and it wasn't that big of a deal so I think these low profile 8" subs will fit just fine.

I'll take pics when I'm all done. I may end up putting one 12" or 15" in the spare tire well if I'm not satisfied with the bass output of the two 8's.

rare factor rules...especially if you had all options..this would just add to it :)

I think a decent 6inch woofer with a nice amp won't sound bad at all since SUpras are hatches..the sound seems louder.

I used to install car audio and I agree those 6.5" Bazooka subs were impressive for such a small driver. They were best used in pairs though, because the power handling was not very high. Another cool setup was to use three JL Audio 6w0 subs in a very small sealed enclosure, it sounded like a good 12" sub and handled lots of power.

there's no way 6.5" or 6" subs will ever sound like a 12", i just don't believe it. I've built several IASCA quality systems in my car back in my youth I would thump around in my soop all day.

3 x 6" subs (if you can call them that) MAY have the output of a 12" at say 120Hz, but not even close at 20-60Hz. 6" just don't have the cone size to dig down that low and are midrange speakers thast can be tuned for midbass speakers, but not true subwoofers. You need a min. of 8" to make decent output at 50Hz, and even 8" is kinda small. To dig down to 30-40Hz you need a really good 10" or an average quality 12". I'm hoping my 2x8" subs will sound decent but even those are no substitute for a real subwoofer.

I didn't believe it either, till I heard it.

(edit) I sent the rest of my ramblings in a pm so not to go offtopic and steal the thread.
