Well, I was brought upon today while "surfing" the web to find a Toyota Cavalier. At first, I thought, "How can someone so stupid put that"...So, I decided to do some research to find out that from 1995-2000, Chevy shipped unbadged "Cavaliers" to Japan, Australia and New Zealand. In 1993, Toyota and GM signed a contract to do so. They were all right-hand drive and had a 2.4L. Kind of weird to see a RHD Cavalier with TOYOTA badges on it. They came with power folding mirrors. :naughty: Sorry, I'm Korean, never seen anything like that before. :icon_razz lol.

SORRY if this is a repost but I had to let out my frustration somewhere...

The guy I did drivers ed with was the man. His only tip for getting on the highway was "floor it, and get in the lane"
A kid I drove with once backed into a pole in a parking lot and the teacher just said "well that was smart... now walk around the car 10 times and learn where it ends so that doesnt happen again."

Yeah, I believe that I remember seeing a TRD body kit for the Cavalier. It really confused me until I found out that Toyota had Cavs for a little bit.

My Granny had an '88 Chevy Nova that was pretty much a Tercel.

Nope. Corolla.

80's Chevrolet Nova = AE82 Corolla FWD
90's Geo Prizm = AE92 Corolla
Current Chevrolet Prizm = newer Corolla

Pontiac Vibe = Toyota Matrix

There were actually a few cool versions of the Nova and Prizm, that Toyota didn't have for themselves.

The AE82 Nova Twin Cam had the 4A-GE engine.
The AE92 Geo Prizm GSi had the high-compression smallport 4A-GE engine with 4-wheel disc brakes, etc.

Both of those are the only 4-door vehicles to get the 4A-GE engine in North America, Toyota's versions only had the economy engines.
