When I go to open my door and try to unlock it, I have to fight with the damn thing for it to turn all the way over to unlock. The whole door handle assembly is somewhat loose from the body of the car so I dont know if this is why. But I just wanted to know what I should do first to maybe solve this problem. Take it apart from the inside or pull it out from the outside to inspect it??? Anything common that goes wrong with this? Anything appreciated!

The mechanism is pretty simple. I'd tackle it by taking the interior trim out and looking for the problem. It's not a very common problem. It's probably got some corrosion or other build up, have a can of lubricant handy and spray liberaly.
