totaled supra now which way to go???

Well a drunk driver drove into the shop where my supra was and totaled it. i will have pics later but anyways I want to start over. I just dont know which way to go. Should I get a 7m or import a jza70 ttr? I have all the aftermarket parts for an awsome 7m but I really like the ttr. I guess what I am wondering is if the 1jzgte is impossible to get performance parts for. I would like to make about 400-450 rwhp. If anyone has any opinions I would really appreciate it

You should search around and no its not impossible to find aftermarket parts, your horsepower goal is very attainable with a single 1jz.

You can have 400-450hp with a stock 7M, and less than $2,000 in mods.

well if you get a TTR have fun getting it street legal. You are better off just swapping one in on a USDM car. But it suck what happened to your car. I can't even imagine someone running in to a building and hitting a car inside.

the ttr you will have problems getting platesd for it, along with a title and tags, it wont pass emissions in cali either.


so you can do a couple things, purchase the TTr and purchase a n/a or turbo usdm modle and swap every last part that makes the TTr special, or

through all the money you would dump into the TTr swap and make a bad ass 7m thats fully rebuild with a 65mm T4 turbo.. 4inch exhaust and so on..

If you already have 7m HP parts why do the swap to a 1jz? Are you getting big bank from his insurance or something? I guess you could sell your parts for 1jz funds...Or donate them to me:sarcasm:

This time you can try looking for a clean 92 turbo?

find another supra in good shape and stay 7m since you already have the parts for a good one. atleast thats what i would do. 1jz would be nice though but i like the 7m

Unless you have some really good reason to want an RHD Supra, you'd be better off swapping a 1J into another US Supra.
