Can be pulled off. But it all depends on the color, stance, kit combination of the car.

Pre89, primered, and on stock height and sawblades WILL NOT WORK :icon_razz

Imagine this:

Now add the hood, I think the look will work well. ABflug lip, Bomex sides, ABflug rears, I would do it.

If it was functional(hard to tell from the picture) it would sure lower underhood temperatures. Personally I like the look of stock best but if it would drop the temperature under the hood it might be worth the ugliness, not the money though. For the cash just buy a second stock hood(or project car?) and take a Sawzall to it.

Heat extractors over the exhaust and the intake.

What is not to like?

Function > Form, any day. I'd hit that hood like it was the hottest chick on earth - as long as the extractors were functional!

I think the stout hood is about the ugliest thing you can do to a mark 3.

This hood is quite a bit better. Bet it would look nice on a (my) black sup.

Why not add the big vents behind the radiator for better flow and evacuation like the Chaser Aero hood?
I'd take the Chaser hood over this one anyday. But any fiberglass or carbon option is nice for these pigs ;)
