Not going to lie, I have thought about the V-mount set up more then once. The response with IC pipes that are only 2' Long total would be amazing. My idea was to have a fully divided tunnel to make sure both the rad and IC got plenty of fresh air as well as an exit vent on the hood, very small but non the less efective enough to get the heat out. Not only would this set up help with the IC pipes but also would allow for better air flow and cooler air to the radiator for those hot summer days. Not to mention for those worried about the heat soak, the shorter IC pipes alone would more then account for that. With longer pipes you have a much greater time for the air to be heated. but anyways that maybe a winter project for me, just have to work on how to properly box the front back up after the memeber is removed. But just my two cents.

the alltrac celica had a top mount water-cooled IC that also used air to cool it as well(my friend has one in his back yard.). I've many times contimplated(sp?) a v-mount, but I should probly turbo my car first.

that is a great setup, especially for rally racing, but you also have to consider... those cars' engine bays are vented like crazy. and they were going for spool up time because of the low amount of tq from the 4 cyl... not something you have to worry as much about in the supra.
