If you do manage to break a snap-on torque wrench they'll give you half the new cost toward a new torque wrench. The tire store I used to work for threw out a broken snap-on torque wrench, so I grabbed it out of the trash and got $117 credit towards a 3/8 click-type torque wrench.
Snap-On tools are nice for a lot of things but are overkill and overpriced for most. I got a snap-on rollcart and a few other things but Craftsman is more than adequate for 99% of jobs and I don't have to make payments on craftsman stuff. I even use harbor freight for some tools, their 3/8 and 1/2 inch swivel sockets are absolutely fantastic and are 1/10th the price of snap-on stuff.
