I live in upstate NY, just outside of Albany, and, as the title suggests, today was the first time I took her out in the snow. We haven't had much snow at all this year, so even as my daily driver, this was the first decent chance. There's a church about 3 blocks from my house with a nice empty parking lot, and DAMN I had fun!

I was only out there for about a half an hour before they asked me to leave, but I wish I could have taken a picture of the tracks I left. I've got Yokohama AVID V4S's on all four corners (decent in the summer, moderate at best in the winter), and they're not a year old, but she was sliding all over the place. 10 minutes of practice and the slides and spins were all exactly what I wanted them to be.

So yeah, I had a blast. That's all I wanted to say.
I love my car!

I've never had the pleasue of Driving in a large parking lot coved in snow, But I sure would do it given the chance, I bet that was a blast. About the closest I've come to that is driving a couple of Fiats 124 Spider and a 131 Super Brave I owned years ago at Soggy Dry Lake. Years ago before the 4X4s messed it up driving in the mud during winter it was sweet. It was smooth as glass and a good couple of square miles . So you could get going 70-80 or whatever speed and just pitch it into 360's then pull it out. I'll bet snow is even more fun. Lucky You.

Hey, I drift in the snow in the local church parking lot too :) It's HUGE, and has hedges covering it from view of the street. Plus it's lighted. I use it to teach people to drive stick too.

I love my supra in the snow. I think it scares people a little but when I start from a stop, and the car goes just a little bit sideways before the LSD locks, and sends it straight. I have some Michellin X-Ice tires on it though, which helps a LOT in the snow :)
