Took my carpet out and came across.......

.......... a wire that isn't connected to anything and unknown to where it goes (follow orange connected to black). I think it is spliced into a speaker wire but not completly sure. Would I have had rear quarter panel speakers back there at one point? Look at the pics, what do you guys think it could be? (I threw a couple more in of the stripped interior)

There's about 18 years of dust, sunflower seeds, and othe misc dirt in here. It'll all be cleaned back to the factory shine before reassembly.

It's either a speaker wire or a power wire for an AMP from sombodys home stereo install job way back when. I could be wrong bu thats my guess.

heh well they do!! trace your wire harness around and youll find electrical tape wherever they wanted to tape some wires together.

They do to tape wires together into bundles, but they never use it for actual connections between wires.

The other thing that these are commonly used for is triggers sensor wires for an aftermarket alarm. In any case, I wouldn't worry about it.

I think we find more money in Canada with the $1.00 and $2.00 coins, heh. I found about $30 in my Corolla when I got it, (the big thing was a $20.00 bill in the door pocket, haha).

I don't remember how much I found in the Supra, too long ago.
