Everything on that burger costs a lot. Try picking up Kobe beef in your local supermarket one day. Good luck on finding it.
There's a place locally that makes virtually the same burger, without the gold flakes, costs $35 last time I checked. I've eaten one. It was unforgettable. I've eaten burgers all over the world, and this was the best by a large margin.

The cows are bred from selected stock, fed a special diet and hand massaged every day. This severely limits the number of cows a farmer can harvest.
