Finally going to dyno my car! Never had my 1st one in good enough condition. Nothing major done to this one, just curious to see what it'll do and how it's gonna do w/a good tune. Like I said, nothing fancy: '88 5spd, turbo, targa, just turned over 120k mi.. Intake, shitty HKS dp, no cats, 3" N1 cat-back, rebuilt head (fresh factory HG w/ARP's @ 85ft/lb), SPEC stg 2, and MAFT Pro w/AEM WB and boost control @ 10psi (hopefully another 2psi when done). Oohhh, fresh tires, oil, tranny, and diff fluid too! lol

Sounds great can't wait to see what she'll make! Try to get some videos or at least picture while there too. Good luck, hope you reach your goals

Well, I was gonna guess around the 260-275 mark, but just a bit shy. I'm still happy with the gains I got. 1st pull resulted in a whopping 184rwhp and 186tq. BUT it was also running a 10.2 AFR @ ~8psi. lol I pulled fuel from the mid and high load tables from ~3000RPM+. After 19 runs we ended up with 241rwhp/250tq w/a solid 11.4-11.6 AFR. The MAFT Pro was set @12psi, but it would spike to 11, drop to 8.5 then creep back to 9.5. The guy watching the mechanical boost guage said it was at ~11 most the time. This was on 91oct also. I'd have liked to get that extra 15-20hp, but I'm happy with what was done. Unfortunately their laptop had issues trying to run the Tuner Pro software so I couldn't watch anything. I tuned it all w/the controller/display. That's something I need to do yet (get a laptop). If the boost would be a solid 11-2lbs the tq would be much nicer.

I have the dyno slips and a vid. My camera is having some issues as well so the vid is kinda screwey. VID: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v235/lumpy88t/?action=view&current=MVI_2523.flv

This was one of the earlier runs. Tq at 250 and hp was ~240. Still at 11.2afr though.

you arent trying hard enough. in 2hrs i could have done 25 ;)

good job on the progress so far. as far as the pro is concerned, if it doesnt have a serial port you need to use a sewell brand usb adapter. none of the other adapters work for crap.

i got my toshiba laptop from retro-box.com for $100. they have some great deals and good guys to work with.
