To me ok is me not installing it.

Also ase master tech does not make you a master just means you can pass the test.. Any bookworm can be a master. But a real master is known just by the way he works. Ive worked with several kinds of master techs. Some that know there shit, some that know there shit but get by and some that know there shit and continually strive to make sure that what they know is right and current.

Telling me your bro is a ase master dont mean shit to me sorry. I only have 3 ase and that was from 3+ years ago when i had the money for them.

I was never blaming you either. Know body knows the exact problem but you were the person to install it and the gasket has had some bad points. Tho ive used it a couple of times with zero issues repeatable members have had issues. Im not going to play blame game either. And no i dont know it all.

Edit: Automotive schooling really isnt what its supposed to be. I really dont know what to say about that any more with regards to any auto school.

Man will both of you shut up.

Pull the damn head.

A head gasket from toyota is 100 bucks. A fail pro is much cheaper. Take the time and inspect your cylinder walls. ;)

Totally autozone powered... That was when I first got it running for the first time after I bought it.. so say my compression is great all across do I pull the head?

The flex plate is still on the motor, I have another bell housing sitting here that ill throw on with a few bolts and the starter, hook the remote starter switch up to it and do a check.. Ill pull the head if I HAVE to, its no big deal will only take a day to get machine work done and have it back together. Never lost any coolant nor oil within the 13,360 miles I have put on it since I did the head gasket job. I lost a little oil due to my valve cover gaskets and oil pan leaking (the reason I pulled the motor otherwise I just would have swapped trans in the car. But no milky oil, coolant was neon green when I drained it out yesterday.

For the reference, the metal that is folded over the two edges is like that just around that area thats how it was when I took the gasket out of the package brand new.. Ill be more than happy to send you the full size pic so you can zoom in and see the gasket. (The only thing that is wrong with my gasket is the straight piece is supposed to be between the gasket and the block is not) Photobucket shows pics crappy, I have the RAW image at 4000x2248 which you can zoom in and see the metal that is just around that oil passage.

Drama passed, Compression is 145-150PSI across. Pressurized cyl with 120PSI of compressed air, nothing abnormal either.. Throwing it back together, just did valve lash adjustment, new valve cover gaskets.. Doing the oil pan in the afternoon
