If you felt that stongly back then stick to your guns dude.
There are a whole bunch of people here I wouldn't cross the street to piss on if they were on fire, hell will freeze over before I'll help them.

I don't say this or take this stance lightly George, I go out of my way to try and help people in general but there are some that after having had them shit on me I refuse to aknowledge let alone help.

As for helping people, I help them in ways that I can. Giving out tech information is not my strong suit. If they wanted to drive over to my house and ask for help swapping out a transmission or rearend, I'd be glad to help them. If they have an electrical issue......I'd ask them if they want to go get something to eat and hope that it fixxed itself by the time we got back.

Personally, I'd advise not to punish those of us that aren't assholes because of those of us that are. (Note: I hope to include myself in the first group... I may be a moron, but I try not to be a dick. You decide.)
The reason I say this is that this community thrives because the more knowledgeable members (like you guys) are willing to help out the less knowledgeable ones (like me). Without that, all we have is a bunch of people talking about cars but otherwise ignoring each other.
We all have people that we're pissed at for one reason or another, justified or otherwise, so I completely understand and agree with Ian. But there are thousands of members, and no doubt hundreds of them would suffer for the mistakes of a few.
Nash, I won't pretend to know the circumstances that pissed you off, nor will I tell you that you should do one thing instead of another. Your decisions are yours alone to make, and we'll respect what you choose. But I can tell you that I would miss your interjections and I would be really pissed if somebody caused a big enough problem that you'd be willing to turn your back on us.

I've encountered my fair share of people who think you owe them something in life or just can't be satisfied with you at all no matter what you do whether it's a little or alot.
these people I try my best not to talk to and to avoid unless it's impossible. Sure I'll talk to them and acknowledge them if they talk to me but as far as calling, hanging out, helping, or anything besides that I will not.
Sorry sir but if anyone steps on my toes just one time that's it for them. Might sound like a jack ass to some but it keeps me out of grief in the long run and can avoid some of the most childish of arguements.
But agian, if you feel that strongly about it Nash then don't do it. Who's to say if you did post up some helpful things and someone were to step on your toes agian???
