No matter what color you paint it, it will all be covered in oil within a year. You say 7m? Make that a month.

Disagree... i can't spot any oil on my block. :sarcasm:

Naw but seriously even if i tried i couldn't, i sprayed it black. LOL I can only see dirt from rolling around without the under cover.

@ OP if you spray paint it, i recommend installing the under cover after the build. (not sure if its called an under cover but i can't think of the correct term right now) No undercover = dried dirt on block & oil pain.

I think you missed my point. Old school domestic guys used to paint the INSIDE of their blocks to speed up oil drainage. I'm personally in support of the word "Rice" being directly linked to an immediate ban, it's ignorant. Do whatever you want bro i'm just messing with you. I think most people who buy a supra are attracted to the raw power, and neons with a green block seem to be more show-car like, so your vision is lost in translation. I WOULD however, stray from the green if you do decide to paint it, but I don't know you. MAybe you have awesome design skills. lol

It's all good man I like input!! And yes show car is kinda what I'm going for along with hp as if you go to a car show here there are a 100% no Supras in one. :evil2:

I still have my 7m. It is built the right way. 2 years rebuilt now and maybe next year ill drive it enough to put synthetic in it. Aside from that, you cant see what color the block is. Could be pink an no one would know.

True. No matter what, you'll end up finding grease on an engine...

Meh.. im thinking about 1JZ or 2JZ for the MK3.

The ol' 7M could go to the MK2 which is what i really want to do. & my old man surprisingly has been asking me if i want to do a 1JZ/2JZ swap, he seems interested. Lol

I vote black, but whatever you want. I can't see much of anything amidst all my turbo plumbing. A lighter color would make it easier to see any leaks, I suppose. Am I missing something with the green here? Am I to believe that everyone's doing it?

Mine Has 2K Miles on the rebuilt & theyre Supaaa CLEAAAAN. Nothing a little Mopar silicone can't seal. But once you take it off you have to clean it off & thats a PITA.
