how'd you do a leak test... plus I think you should be doing a pressure test instead... also have your IC pressure tested... you could have a crack in the IC...

pressurized all pipes there all good. i have checked the wg and bov, both good. from my car overboosting i suffered from slight detination and blew my hg. i have yet to find out why i am boosting so high. i also replaced alot of the vac lines. i guess a vac leak wouldnt close the waistgate. but i wouldnt build boost then right? why the f and my building too much boost? anyone......please help any suggestions would be so helpful.

I come from a land down under
If the line to the WASTEGATE actuator is leaking it would let the motor overboost and maybe detonate but fuel cut "should" prevent that happening.

If you were running low octane fuel and the above happened kiss the HG goodbye....

oh i did kiss it goodbye we dicussed this earlier. still trying to figure out what caused it.
