well i finally got my hose off the bottom of turbo replaced today, but i am broke and i had to buy a peice of rubber flex pipe. seems more durable than just regular hose. anyways it was just a tad smaller. after installing it i warmed up my car and got ready take it for spin. as soon as i mashed it buckled and took off but my boost jumped up reallly fast and pegged out my stock boost gauge and hit fuel cut. my car is bored .050 over, 2.25 exuast and i shimmed the waistgate just a little(.062). my question, would that smaller pipe build boost faster and why am i hitting fuel cut? i cant be pushing no more than 10 psi. i plan on getting a bigger boost gauge and controller tomorrow.

it's a few hours away... I'm in kansas city... I would take your shims out that could stop the spiking... try it and see... let me know I'll look to see what else it could be...

ya thats what i would have guessed but i m building out ragous amounts of boost

I'd say just go through all of your vac lines and redo them... just to make sure... I mean all the hoses are probably at least 20yrs old anyways...

i done a leak test and all my intake and ic pipes are good. it might be bov or other hose around 3000 pipe. its not the rubber connector between the 3000 and tb.i m lost.

I'm hitting FC at 7 psi because I have a boost leak at the rubber elbow directly after the turbo. Any leak in the I/C pipe system will cause abnormal readings from the AFM, usually causing early FC. If you're still having trouble, check your I/C piping for leaks (pressure test), and check all related vacuum lines.

Just go through and replace all your vac lines... it'll save you trouble in the future... it's an easy job to do...

replace IC pipes... or bov... I know when I popped my bov out I hit fuel cut almost imediatly... so you could have a slow leak...
