no ac, no PS, and a hardtop here, and the heater is constantly on. then again, i do not track this car, nor do i daily drive it. i see no need for PS in this car, it is just fine without it (remember to back into parking spots tho, so much easier). you also get a rediclous feel of the road without it. just make sure to leave some fluid in the rack (remember its ATF fluid) and cap off the ends. then enjoy the 2 hp extra and better feel(IMO)

sean looped the in and out on his to keep fluid in the rack. i think it drives awesome. real responsive, and great road feel. the only downside is parking lots but i always park out in the middle of nowhere anyway so it isnt much concern.

mine is working fine, no leaks. im not gonna go yank out a perfectly good functioning system. but when it craps its coming out.

^^^^^^^^ Taking off the lines and capping it is VERY different and easier (to steer) I might add than driving with a leak or a belt broken. ;)

I too run without power steering for my reasons. If you guys think it is hard to steer without it, then you need to eat more protein (seriously) :icon_razz

A few others things to add while I am posting.

1. It looks cleaner in the bay without it
2. Drop weight
3. Free up hp

+1.
Having no powersteering isn't THAT bad.
When my supra was running, I ran it without the PS the whole time, and had to take it slow when parking (which isn't always a bad thing) but other than that it never really bothered me.
Edit:
I am in no shape or form of a big guy either, btw.

if the steering wheel was larger and/or the steering ratio was cahnged, I wouldn't mind going without P/S...

but I like my P/S and A/C, creature comforts are what the supra has always been about IMHO...

But when you start getting into a beastly piece of an operating machine, you start to steer away from that "creature" effect and start talking about something that's...well...kind of a big deal. :biglaugh:
