Is that the bomex?

Everyone's mods are great, I didn't realize this was so popular.
Is everyone using the metal bar for support, Or will a lip support it enough?

The Bomex 3 hole - yep.

I've got a wooden support in there - cut to fit and all sealed up nicely. Been running that setup since 2002.

And I totally agree. So much better without the license plate dimple - also shaved the front badge off the nose.

I thought this looks pretty sweet:

Didn't just cut the grill, but cut a rectangle for his front mount.

This car is for sale: Slicks in the back, skinnies in the front...

This is the sexiest "stock" front bumper I've ever seen... THIS is how Toyota should've made them...

Here is another case of different tastes.

To me that bumper needs one of two things. Either a line where the bumper and the lip would normally meet or paint the lower part of the lip black to give some visual break. For me there is just too much stuff below the foglights/opening.

But that's just me. :)

Is there anyway someone would be willing to post a pic of how they are supporting there bumper after the cut? I really looking forward to doing this soon.

i used the origional meatal pieces that were there already. i had to drill some different holes and make them fit. i also have a piece of allthread going from the middle of the lip going into the metal bumper for additional support
