I'm getting my engine rebuild. I've been looking around and reading alot of great stuff on MHG. Especially HKS, COMETIC, GREDDY. Has anyone be able to use a titan and liked it? My build is a conservative one, with MHG and ARP as insurance. Not looking to go past 12 psi or 350whp. Anyone with any insight? Can't find a truly dedicated shop to 7M's? I need to purchase some things.

You might want to just type in Titan MHG in the search option and there are a ton of threads about this.

The Titan is the same as the Cometic! I have one here that I have used for about 628 miles, doing a rebuild now and getting another one. They are going to be the same quality as the HKS and Greddy. I like the Titan better than the HKS, I blew one of those.

Your mileage may vary... I've blown a cometic, but my HKS has been through worse abuse and is still running strong.

Remove the rivet before install! I learned the hard way.
QFT. Check that none of the rivets touch the machined surfaces on both sides.

NIce. Thanks guys. Titan is very reasonable in price, thus the reason to seek more personal questions and answers ( just in case price reflect quality). I just don't want to have to redo the HG because I skimp out on the OG HKS. I used cometic before on my 4g63 and didn't like it at all. It's either the 180.00 titan or 300.00 HKS.:aigo:

The HKS I had was on there for 4 years at over 400rwhp and 75+ drag passes, it finally blew because of bad fuel injectors. I do like how the Titan/Cometic is thicker between cylinders than the HKS. That is why I'll be getting another one.

Blown a Titan, a Cometic and an HKS Stopper :D
If you try hard enough you can break anything!

Come on Ian, you break damned near everything you get your hands on. Your having broken something doesn't say nearly as much about the quality of the product as it does about your unique style of testing...

"That part broke after having been submitted to only 10 times the stress it was designed to hold. What a crap product!"

...

Of course if there's anything you haven't broken... I want one!
