I was wanting to go with 295 i just dont want to rub, I test fitted the wheels already and they look nasty, the rears barely clear the strut though I forget because it was a while ago but i think they cleared by like .5" lol

I ran some numbers for ya, from 1010tires.com:

285/40R17

Section Width: 11.22 in 285 mm
Rim Width Range: 9.5 - 11 in
Overall Diameter: 25.97 in 659.63 mm
Sidewall Height: 4.48 in 113.79 mm

295/40R17

Section Width: 11.61 in 295 mm
Rim Width Range: Fucking Huge
Overall Diameter: 26.29 in 667.76 mm
Sidewall Height: 4.64 in 117.85 mm

285/35R17

Section Width: 11.22 in 285 mm
Rim Width Range: Fucking Huge
Overall Diameter: 24.85 in 631.19 mm
Sidewall Height: 3.92 in 99.568 mm

I think 275 or 285 are your best bet if it's tight on the inside. There's no point in paying extra for 295 (if they even make them) when a 275 will do the job with ease
