Well i just ordered the parts to hopefully fix my 87 Turbo Supra. I have to replace the end piece on my steering column, The piece that the actually steering wheel is attached to along with the ignition, and my inner and outter tierods along with the bellow boot. Any suggestions or tips on these parts? I will be jacking the ar up in the grass to do this :(

Pulling the steering column isn't that difficult. Two 17mm nuts right at the dash support brace, one nut on the universal joint under the hood, a few 10mm bolts at the base.

Remove the theft deterrant ECU, and unplug the ignition wiring, etc. Shouldn't take you more than an hour or two.

I will for sure use jack stands. As far as the column goes should i unplug the battery first and then go from the inside of the car taking of al the trim and unplugging all the plugs and the unbolt? or do i have to pull out the intire column at once? cause im only replacing the end bar on it.

I did my tie rods in the parking lot at work 2 years back. Really easy IMHO compared to some cars that push the rack behind the motor...

Yes it is always good to disconnect your battery before you do any kind of electrical work. As for the tie rods if I’m not mistaken there is a special tool you need to take the inner rods off. Something like this http://www.restockit.com/inner-tie-..._source=googlepla&utm_medium=affiliateprogram
But you may be able to rent one form a local parts house. The outer tie rods are easy. A good solid hit with a hammer on a knuckle and they should pop right out. Just leave the nut on the bottom incase you miss..lol Good luck

Sweeeet. I just got all my parts today. Ive looked up how to replace everything and it actually seems really easy. Im hoping that i didnt fuck anything up inside of the rack itself because my buddy said i couldve fucked up my gear in the rack or something? But to me it just looks like the tierod got fucked and the boot ripped. Tomorrows my day! :) ill get on tomorrow night and let you all know how everything went. Thanks a lot for the help you guys rock.
