I've got the factory tint as well. Can't wait to tear it off and go 20% when I get the car painted.

Actually, you can't peel off the factory tint since the glass itself is tinted (not a stick on/film)

In Colorado, its 27% on every window.

I've heard you can do 20 on the rear-side and back if you have 50 or higher in the front. But cant find that in writing.

Here are the laws on tint by state. The Colorado one has two rows, I guess you can do one or the other?

Great link, thanks man. So ya, I guess here its either 27% all around or nothing in front and anything in the back.

^^ What Duane said, the factory tint is not something that can be peeled off, it's in the glass. If you have a film on the glass, it was done afterwards.

just have a simple 35 all around, just to keep the sunlight down a bit.

5 is just too dark.... Can't see shit out the back window at night with 5...

It is the glass itself. I am not sure how they do it. I guess I could look it up but it doesn't matter to me. :biglaugh:

I say 20% is perfect, that's what I have, and it keeps sunlight down while not being too dark at night.

NJ FTL front window's is a NO but all others besides windsheild can be any. Oh well. IIRC the stock tint is stained glass.
