thanks aj
timming was out 2 teeth on both gears

i got two more ? for you

on maft pro my afr reading is 10 @idle i change the mainscale - engine revs higher but maft still reads 10

change mainscale + rpm falls so it hs to be changeing afr right? but still reads 10

?2 open loop ? remove o2 sensor! purple wire to vf aux 1 should red zero!
stayed t zero for two days then started 1-3
this mens its getting afr reading for some where right?
any suggestons

timming is right know pulls hard hit 15 psi before boot came off

How do the AFR readings on the pro compare to the readings on your wideband?

vf should be around ~2 volts at idle.

Adjust the idle using the VE table instead of the mainscale.

DO NOT BOOST UNTIL YOU GET THE AFR'S SORTED OUT!!!! :)

i dont have a guage just lc1 that came with maft pro

i tought with ver 5.21 and ptt idle to wot should be controlled by maft in open loop with aux1 0 representing no o2 sensor am i wrong about this ?

yes i have maft pro,lc1,+ boost control that came with the kit
key on engine of reads 22 runing around 10.

was saying i had a cheap aze gauge hooked to narrowband output of lc1 that is led type that reads rich ideal and lean
this was pegged all the way rich

was testing a theroy that + in mainscale would be going richer witch would make engine rpm drop. it did meaning afrs are actually changeing but lc1 and maft are not seeing that still around 10.3 same for mainscale - engine revs but maft afr says 10.3

i calibrated when first installed set for gasoline and 0-5v but has been in and out a time or two i no longer have lc1 dic to double check

---------- Post added at 08:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:23 PM ----------

still un clear on the vf aux1 reading should be?

if read like aj said tune till around 2.5
but bob was saying that aux1 at 0.0 signifys open loop no 02 connected to ecu just maft pro

i was under the impression that maft in speed density mode should control fuel in idle to readline in open loop meaning aux1 is 0!!

is open loop 0.0 on aux1

my sup sometimes stays aux1 at 0.0 car runs pretty good then aux1 starts reading a phantom signal car dosent run as good.

any help appreciated

The following is partly my opinion and partly my findings. Take it as you will...

The stock ECU closed loop operation is a force to be reckoned with! At best, very few maft pro users have accomplished closed loop control to a satisfactory level. The stock ECU can add/subtract as much as 25% of fuel. That's HUGE!

In my opinion, it would be best for you to leave closed loop operation to the stock ECU. Leave the stock O2 sensor installed and connected, turn off all PTT and related closed loop operation features, re-connect your WB gauge, and re-calibrate your LC1.

I would explain Vf to you; but, I'd rather refer you to this link. It is what I used to get started and has great Vf and maft info.
