from my spec sheet a wire splices into the IGt wire on ignitor to the IGt going to the ECU and then back to the MAFT-PRO

hate to bring this back from the dead but.. i need help with timing i have /currently running vpc/gcc,my question is is their anyway to pull timing or advance with another device,i really don't have the money to go full standalone, but i need more timing control, also do you guys happen to know how much timing the computer will retard above 10pounds per pound. i am currently running below 10 pounds but i haven't had it on a dyno or anything yet. any info would be really helpful

any person modifying a car should know that..I already do

Also anyone know how much the stock ecu will retard timing above 10 pounds of boost? or even if it does..reason for asking is because I have a vpc,gcc to take care of fuel. I need to take care of timing.

i have been toying arround with MAFT pro timing control and whenever hooked up as per the diagram it will not start and randomly get a large backfire after cranking.

did i miss some config values required for it to work or should i check over the wiring for the 5th time...

Actually, there are people who have disassembled the Toshiba 8X ECU code.

The D151802 is the same as Intel's automotive version of the 8751 series, part of the MCS51 family of 8 bit microcontrollers. I used to design with them using a Tektronix microprocessor development system and an 8X51 emulator pod. MDS systems are great. They beat data analyzers by miles for ease of use, real time tracing, disassembly and making changes.

Any update on timing control? What version of SW is needed? Settings?

Are the Mods to the board the same as the Timing Monitor mods?

Is the diagram below how to hook it up?

that is the diagram FullThrottlespeed & DrJones made. I simply posted it.

I have not got my motor to fire up when hooked up like the diagram. There is no mods needed to the board for this feature. The mod is for timing monitor.

Someone needs to hook this up and confirm their engine runs...

The dotted lines represent the original cut wire.
