When I first had my 7mgte rebuilt, my car was idling really low and felt like it was misfiring (it would shake hard and almost die at a stop light, but was fine when i gassed it) -the guys at the shop told me this was part of the break in process and turned a screw near the alternator's location. They said it would advance the timing and that they had turned the bolt as much as it would go.
This made my car idle slightly higher and so it didnt shake as bad at stop lights. Now that the motors broken in, the idle is still sitting quite high ~800-900 and I wanted to reverse what they did a bit. If someone knows which screw/bolt I'm referring to, can you tell me exactly where it's located?
Thanks
