How good is your body work? Be honest with yourself...when you paint a car black you see EVERYTHING! If you didn't mold that body kit in perfect you will see it. If your doors aren't straight, you will see it.

If you think that car is straight...go black. Otherwise pick the blue or another, lighter colour.

Car looks good BTW.

Yeah i know black will show the most flaws and dirt, but I think that may be the way I am going. For a non-professional I think I did a pretty damn good job :) I spent alot of time going over every little thing until I couldnt feel it with my finger tips.

Thanks man, I have a hood scoop coming for it also. I nabbed a hood scoop from a 80's 300zx Should look pretty sweet, perfect size, not to big or gaudy.

DGM?

i vote black and paint those rims black to match. the other choices are close runner ups, though not my favorites they both look good.

and coming from a guy with a black supra...yeah its a bitch to keep clean but i live down a gravel drive. it will help you keep up on the waxing and washing because it will visually alert you that dust is present..or pollen...or fingerprints. basically EVERYTHING shows up unless you're 5 or so feet away.

but its nice, different that most (because nobody likes to clean) and sleek. black on black on black on black (tint and interior)...crazy cool.

EDIT!!!--------i was thinking that 3rd pic was a green metallic, if it's gunmetal grey its my tied choice for 2nd! that and black rims...mmmm

there's a gunmetal supra local to me that i wish i could buy...but it's 6k dollars and i have no job. lol.

DMG=Dark Metallic Green

Yeah black on black on black is what I am leaning towards the most.

I dunno about painting the rims though. I think black with the polished lip looks ok, but to me black on a rim makes it too hard to see sometimes. Maybe gunmetal?

I can't make up my mind. I love my blue metallic, but grey and black are my next favorites. The black one that sevenMKIII posted up is gorgeous. Good luck with this decission.

The Grey is the best color for the MKIII, and you don't see them very often. But, I'm not sure the grey or black would be good for that bumper. You need to lighten it up a bit. TooQwik's car looks amazing with that bumper in Red. The blue is also pretty nice, but I see that particular picture all over the place.

Black is gorgeous as long as it looks wet. The fact is, it will get scratched and chipped over the years, and each of those will show up white once waxed, and look like shit.

Your car is looking very good! I hope whatever color you choose gets applied properly, and the car will be beautiful.

Thanks man, I worked pretty hard on it to make sure it was as close to perfect as I could get it. I am having a body shop do the paint work so it should be fine. I dont have 2-3 grand to drop on paint, so as long it is all one color and looks decent I'll be happy.

I though black might be too dark on the bumper myself but I have seen the body kit in black and it looks good, another forum member has it.

Another reason I am leaning towards black is because all the moldings would match the car perfectly.

OK, I will preface this by saying that these are quite possibly the worst photoshops I have EVER done. But in case they help, here they are:

Black - ish

Dark Blue - ish

Grey - ish

The grey came out crappy, but a nice dark grey is my vote!

Sorry I couldn't do any better, the multiple colors/finishes pissed me off, so I gave up

If you want a really good PS job, post a nice pic of a car with the same kit - Metallic car preferred if you want a better grey PS
