After 20+ years it is time to replace the plug wires, I would appreciate suggestions on replacements, should I go factory or aftermarket?

ngk plugs wires. toyota plug wires are around 80-110 depending who you get them from and you can find great aftermarket wires for way less.

The NGK wires work fine and are cheaper, but the Sumitomo set fits better. I was not able to get the distributor cover back on with NGK wires. The Sumitomo boots are also nicer.

Just going to echo my mechanic here, once it comes to plugs and wires he will always try to push for OEM. champion toyota has them at very reasonable price, online. Thats where I got mine.

For a turbo, the NGK and OEM are the same price, but the OEM comes with the wire seperators.

Guess which one I got (plus the blue would clash with my red car)
