tie rod question

ok i cheaped out and bought ebay tie rods haha. here's what i recieved:

heres the pic from ebay:

now the auction said 86-88 but the pic looked right so i went for it (i have a 91). are the earlier year tie rods different then the newer year tie rods?

I'm pretty sure those are the pre-89 tie rods with the steering damper thing on there. That's what the threaded part is for because the damper attaches to one tie rod and then to the crossmember or rack or something.

yeah thats what i'm thinking. i shouldn't have gone by the picture, i should have gone by the description. i figured they'd all be the same
