Throttle linkage question

Alright guys and gals again I come to you for your formidable information. I have a dilemma. First some background info I received a car (89 supra turbo manual with targa top) minus engine and trany along with a turbo engine and auto trany (was told 89 as well) project car from my father in law as he switched to a 35 pickup. Attached to the body is the throttle linkage that was on the car and attached to the motor is another linkage. My dilemma is that they are not the same. The one from the motor has an additional brace welded in. Does anyone know why they are different and is one better then the other?

Yup thats both of them and thanks for the quick reply. But why are they different? Is it a year thing or because one is for a manual and the other an auto trans?

Cool looks like ill keep the one with the car on then as im gonna be dropping the auto and installing a manual back in. I just love manuals makes me feel like im actually driving instead of just along for the ride.
