Could one of yall post a detailed pic of the stock gte throttle linkage above the passenger side valve cover? Preferably an above shot? I can't tell if the one I have is broke or what as something about it doesn't seem right:-(

This is probably not what you want, but it shows the difference between a manual and automatic throttle linkage assembly:

But mine's not! :icon_cry:

How do we get rid of the stock setup? I cannot find a complete one to bolt on for the life of me! :: angry :: And I don't want to pay $40-60 just because I am missing the roller piece (cylinder thing) that allows the rod itself to roll along with the TB

if its that piece iirc is comes with the tb. maybe go to the junkyards and get one for like 10bux.

or go to the yards and pull the tb apart and pocket it.

Show me a yard that doesn't part out their turbo supra's before allowing the public to reach them.... And no, I'm not driving more than an hour for it lol (Hampton Roads, Va)

Lol I bought the throttle rod from him, but it didn't have the roll-ey piece on it. I have had to buy my tb system piece by piece lol First the TB, then the brackets, then the rod... now I'm buying gaboon's in the hopes that it will end my use of zip ties for throttle linkages lol

Or PM 92teal. I'm sure he'll find another pristine late model Supra, buy it, and decide to part it out in the next week or so.

: ( Hating on poor me! It is fine though, yes I do part out some " nice " Supra's I will rightfully admit. I do, do a favor for people that need the parts though. I do wish I wouldn't have parted out the Teal Supra now, but it is fine, I can get another one about 200 miles from me at anytime I just not trading my VR4 for it, so..

Looks like Grim just hates me!

As far as throttle linkage goes, does anyone have a picture or pictures of how a GTE throttle linkage works with a GE throttle cable?

Nope, don't hate the person, hate the actions. Many people will need to part out a car at one time in their life. You, however, appear to be making it a career choice! ;)

Well, I make good money off doing it >,<! I mean what can I say, if I am doing well and helping me pay for some college and things I do, then i think it's worth it.
