If you're using a regular Tap it needs to be a bottoming tap and not a starter or intermediate as shown in the links.

Proper chasers don't remove much material whereas a Tap if you side load it will cut the hole oversize.

so the ones i just showed u won't work? I thought they would be able to work since i know arp sells thread chasing tap sets that looks similar.

The ones you posted are intermediates notice the taper at the end?

A bottoming tap will be the same price as those you posted you just need to ask for it.

On a chaser/bottom tap the threads go right to the end as pictured>>
