Thoughts on an aluminum block

Does anyone have acess to blueprints or technical drawings of our cars, so that we can look for possible points where lightening the part would have the greatest effect? Such as the front bumper support (probably going to get criticized for even thinking of modifying that part). If a part could be made just as strong as the original, but lighter, it could be a great weight savings, that thing is heavy.

Well, it pretty much goes like this:

Luxury, comfort, but most of all: safety |--------------------------------| Light, nimble, very quick

You have to pick one of the points in between...cant really have both. Alot of us buy Supras because they are one of the safest things on the road, comfortable, AND fast. FDs are hella light, but I highly doubt they are that safe

For my next mkiii, I plan on going ballz out with it. This is why I'am looking into everything now.

I'am just going to start drilling holes in everything, lol.
