thoughts on a clear targa top?

I think the clear targa idea is cool, But I don't have a targa so it really dosn't matter does it!!!

WOW! It is like stepping into a timewarp.

WAY back in the day - before many of you even owned a Supra. I was working on getting this made. I had made contact with the company that made the custom aero-top for the Del Sol - similar to the Vette top. We had gotten exploded drawings for them to look at and they were going to take the next step to see how feesable it was. All we needed was for someone in their area to pay them a visit and show them how everything worked.

We'll just say that the people we had lined up never went over there so this project pretty much died.

I think I remember reading about this back in the day on SOGI, I could be wrong, but I think so... in any case, yeah, never happened I guess. .

so it looks like some are kinda into the idea and others arent.

to each their own i guess.

i think its a neat idea. im trying to get someone to let me just test fit it to see how off i am.

the sunburn issue is not a big deal. a lot of tints only let 5% of sunlight through, but i don't know about the vette's. or, some kind of shield could easily be intalled. maybe an interior-colored piece if cloth could look pretty neat if installed correctly.

i would really want a clear targa!
