those taillight covers

I got this email from Yashar back on 04-05-05 with some tracking #'s for my covers and he gave the link to a site called www.canadapost.ca.

well I still haven't been home yet since march 9th .
when I just went to the site and typed in my tracking #'s , it told me that there was 2 divered item and a third just out now for delivery.

I have been way too busy these past two months with all the nuclear plants outages to keep on up tp date with things. but I should be home within a wk since now I'm layed off for the summer.

Has every one / or anyone got theres ? is so, how dod they come out after that long wait ? do they look good or what ? fill me in on what to expect when I get home to hopefully find mine waiting for me........

if not.. try PM'ing the For sale mod, ask if he can help you get in contact with Yashar or maybe other people who are involved in the GB...

I have a graicer front end which has a tracking number from yashar, which seems to be working just fine, I will let you know. I got my product rather quick, can't say for sure on quality yet but I've heard good things about the graicer replica's.

to tell you the truth i dont think yashar does any of the replications, i mean how is it that he makes badass fronts but cant make a simple taillight cover. i really think that he outsources these things and tells the companies where to ship the finished replications. i mean if he did that, in some sence he would be in the wrong but not totally his fault.

I agree, but it is obvious to me after having delt with him, that he is not capibal of producing a consistant, quality item in a timely fasion, and with the comunication and service that is expected by a paying costumer. :thumbsdow

People arguing about the Bomex rear skirts....geat a life.

My buddy Kris ( mk3_300 on here) has the REAL bomex rear skirts, front lip and side skirts....and the fit and finish SUCKS, at least for the rear skirts. They are super thin at some spots ( risk of cracking).....

So the replications that are thin at some spots and not fitting just right are then to me "EXACT REPLICAS" of the real units.....and friggen Kris had to wait 7 months for his kit!!!!!


So. I have faith in this Yashar guy, whether he outsources or not he still delivers....better late than never. :icon_wink

hmm i didnt know that there was still a chance of seeing these, hell bad or not i wouldnt mind seeing something for my money, havnt heard nething which angers me a bit.

I got home the other day from my two month long work scope only to have found a box from Yashar along w/ all of my other mail. I am glad that I finally got them instead of getting completely ripped off. They are nice, definately not the greatest of precision quality but nice enough that I will put them on . BUt then I started thinking that they will look even better on my supra knowing that I have a set of those clear tails.


Red covers over clear tails with red baulbs would look mad tyght..... IMO

So all an all over a long wait, I like them
