Just get a targa brace sucka.Toyota h8r said:Keep in mind targa cars w/top off are just as bad. Also, i have seen in person a targa car with top on and a-pillars smashed in just like that srt-4. T

I bet that because it was a modern car is the reason he survived at all.

The Neon is a front wheel drive econobox. The SRT-4 is a front wheel drive econobox with too much power. I've driven these things. Torque steer is just horrendous, no actually dangerous would be a better description. The car is stupidly overpowered for it's suspension, brakes and chassis.
Couple big power, low investment cost, parental stupidity (Ohhh! It's a Neon, it's cute! Get one for Billy!), front wheel drive, and you are just about 100% guaranteed to attract young (inexperienced) drivers. You put an inexperienced driver in that and you've got a problem on your hands.
There was a place here in ATL called WarpedSpeed Performance. They built ten 500 horsepower Civics. A year later one of them was left. Think about that, only one. The rest had been totaled. Why? Big power, front wheel drive, econobox chassis.
You can die in ANY car. Be it Top Fuel Dragster or a bone stock Geo Metro. But at least with a car like a Supra, you are starting out with something that was designed, from the ground up, to be fast. And safe.
Yup. I vote truth. Although I got lucky, my experience was just sliding out on a cloverleaf onramp into traffic. No crashing involved, but it slowed me down a bit...TurboWarrior said:Most young people need a few crashes before they learn unfortunetly
suprahero said:He is getting tongue lashed here for making a video to try and let you learn from his mistakes. The first would be buying a neon of course, and then not knowing how to drive at high speeds. He will probably become a spokesperson traveling around to highschools with his x-rays and video trying to teach younger kids to drive slower and safer, so I say more power to him. That just makes it safer for all of us. I don't think he made the video so we would feel sorry for him, I think he did it to try and save one persons life that might not drive fast now after watching his video. I love to drive fast, and am willing to pay the consequences for my actions, but I believe I can handle my car and I keep a close eye on everyone else around me, because I have no control over their car. I'm glad he lived and I'm also glad he made this because I'm sure he'll change some other neon driving, street racing teenagers mind about driving like an idiot after viewing this video...................watch out for the other idiots on the road...............lol
