what is that piece called that is ontop of my thermostat housing... its like a vacuum sensor, someone said its for the acis. but i need to replace it and i dont know what its specifically called.

BVSV, same part is found on nearly all late 80's-early90's toyotas. Chances are, you can find a pristine one at a local junkyard for under 5 bucks.
Thank you for the diagram, it is the BVSV. i didnt know what to tell my autopart store. it looked like a dealership part anyway, im gonna take a trip to my junkyard now. and thank you
