Well since were so close it was just the hood slapping inside the hook... It was super loud and I thought I had serious problems, then I opened my hood and it stopped.. Closed it again and it came back WTF.. lol

So something was shaking or loose for it to make that sound? Sure nothing is wrong with your motor or mounts or something loose. Never heard of that before. Hood mounts usually never get removed there fore never have problems unless provoked.
My front latch is sitting a little high because my intercooler mounting, so the hood doesn't sit on the rubber stops so it rattles, but really loud.. I am pulling my front end all off to adjust everything to get it all lined up again
crazy! ya i would have been trippen when i first heard after doing some good pulls. and then a huge sigh of releaf once i popped the hood to see what happend.

yeah, It scared me.. I thought my motor was done for.. But then I thought, hmm nah this thing is solid.. popped the hood, went away LOL I was like wtf just happened
