BTW, not to pry or anything, but did you try the BC that skips one cycle. My ex had one period every 2 months, and it seemed to be better for her.

I've been on just about every birth control available to try to combat my ovarian cysts and endometriosis.

The one where you're only supposed to bleed every two or three months? Had me bleeding for three months straight. No thanks. ;P

DT,

My wife has the same problem. She was stage 2. She had the Laproscopy done and then had 6 months of chemically induced menopause.

She had no pain after that.

Good luck.:icon_mrgr

SC - I know your pain.:(

Aw, sorry to hear about that! My mom has endo as well and has had several procedures to help. It sounds like yours is much more painful, though. Hang in there and enjoy the painkillers

BTW, I think there is a cure in the form of a hysterectomy. My mom's having one in a couple weeks (lucky b****).

Eh. As much as I'd like to be spayed since I don't want kids, there's the whole natural ebb and flow of the body's hormones and whatnot that I'd prefer to keep.

Doing the whole menopause thing at 25 and then having to deal with osteoperosis ain't my cup of tea.

Ah, but if you don't have an ovariohysterectomy (spay) and just have the uterus removed while the ovaries stay behind, the hormones and nature are still in balance. I think it sounds great!
