Is there any form of isolation between those radiator mounts?

im sorry but i do not understand your question. are you refering to some kind of dampner on the mounting brackets to keep the vibrations from craking anything? if so then no there isnt. just the rubber mount insert thingy's on the lower side of the radiator.

The car is nice, I'd love to buy the headers from you, but other than that, I think it's your responses that aren't getting much attention in here.

You answer questions, but other than that... you posted 5 pics, then the dirty night shots with the 5zigens on and telling us to go listen to a mustang instead of posting up a video, I could tell you weren't into the car.

Now it's for sale. Go figure. Sorry we weren't awestruck over it, but when we have a model 1UZ thread here http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96332
There's a bit to live up to.

IMHO your asking price is a bit high.

btw: Not like it matters since you're not keeping the car, but shaeff made a solid point asking if there was a point of isolation between the core support and the radiator. There will be a problem if there isn't.

^ yup thats exactley it! man you must be a wiz kid or something...

actually the car was offered to me for my previous car as a trade. i took the car because it was different and i liked it. i had no intentions of getting the car just to be "cool" i could care less about that. The only reason i am selling the car is because i need the money to fund another project that my girl and i picked up. The 2 of us decided to build a strictly track only car, so it had to be something she liked aswell. unfortunately she does not like the supra. so you guys can sit here and make your comments and try to pick me apart like you know me, but you dont so get over yourselves.

oh and as for your other comments (supra90turbo) i told you that i would try to get a video up, i do not own a video recorder so that makes it a little difficult to do so. im sorry i couldnt fulfill your needs. as for the radiator its been like that for a year now with driving the car on a daily basis. i think its fine. and as for the being awestruck about the 1uz swap i could care less, i made one comment about "what no love for the 1uz car" as a joke.

and yes i agree my asking price is to high. but its kinda hard to put a price on something like this as you dont see any other ones up for sale to gauge your price off of unlike the typical 1J/2J cars.... sorry.

Don't get me wrong, the car seems to be very well built, with quality work, but the radiator should never be grounded, doesn't matter how long it's been like that.

That car, being standalone and speed density could use some other F4i parts as well, like throttle bodies, making an ITB 1UZ. Now THAT would be amazing.

I'd love to get that car, for about $4k.

Random noob question, since ive been trolling through this thread, what can happen (at worst) if your radiator is mounted/grounded like his it? You guys are talking about the 2 upper radiator brackets grounding against the frame right?
