ok just dropped the tank yesterday and my fuel pump strainer was off so i got a new one and put that on and my tank didnt have anything on the bottom of the tank. my gas didnt smell or taste like real gas should it tasted more like it was watered down. i think this could be my problem. what do you guys think.
not really sure why you are tasting your gas... but... Maybe put some new gas in?
After you fixed the temp sensor, did you reset the ECU? It will idle like crap for about 30 minutes since it needs to relearn the fuel maps, but other than that if there are no other problems you're good to go.
If the problem persists, I'd suggest checking all of your IC piping with a pressure checker...

i actually wasnt just tasting it to be tasting it i had to get it out of the tank. i am gonna try new gas not gonna put that old gas in it. and ill recheck my ic pipes if i still have this problem

finally got my car running right: the strainer had fallen off the fuel pump, and my timing was out of wack. but when im going about 60 or more, and i have the throttle wide open it seems to hit a dead spot, and then let go of the gas and then goes back to normal until i do the same again wut could this be

Definately sounds like TPS I had this problem in my old 5.0 Mustang......ended up being the TPS going bad. Im not sure if the TPS is adjustable in the supra but on my stang it wasnt and I had to buy a brand new one.

yeah i am still getting code 51 i am also still getting code 22 which i changed my coolant temp sensor and reset my computer now i am also getting 24 and afm code
