I've been doing it for a while now, not so much around town, but whenever I'm driving the car at events, I just drive it there. And I haven't had time to make an exhaust for it, so I just drive open downpipe. It's not that bad, but at least with this car, it's too loud for how slow it is. Stock turbo on it's way out, stock boost, so it's not making enough power to justify all the noise, but I don't really care. And the open downpipe shoots some sweet flames. The last time I was at Pocono with the car, I got pulled in and they wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with my car and that nothing under there was going to burn.

Hahahaha me too! I get a lot of mixed opinions about it but I really like it! I love being able to here my car! And then hearing my Garret turbo spool and see peoples mouths drop...... Its a good feeling!

I have a open downpipe too, it sounds like a freakin' diesel.

I have to agree with you there, I drove mine with just the down pipe on about 100 yards when I was making my 3" catback and all I could think was diesel truck.
