Thinking about buying a GA70

if the interior and exterior are spotless, that sounds like a good price
the 1G is supposed to be pretty durable as well, it's just the turbos seem to have the same issues as any other stock turbo, too small and don't like big boost.
get em a bit bigger and more durable and it will SCREAM.
I'd love to own a 1G if I could get a clean one, and that one isn't swapped, it's in good working order, get it you'll probably love the high RPM fun...

Yea i dont know what the laws are down there for importing cars, here it sucks because it has to be 15 years or older unless that model was sold in canada on that year.
hey man is that a green GA70?? i ran into that guy(if it's the same car) it's in pretty good shape but he was havin a hard time finding any parts for it

i use to have a 1g and it was a great running car got good gas mileage was fun as hell to drive and mine was stock lol it weighed 3100 lbs+ -. my car ran a 10.03 in the 1/8th with a slipping clutch and spinning through 1st and thats not much slower than some of the supras i hear people talking about on here as far as stock.. you can find parts you just have to look really hard to find them! but for 7k i wouldnt touch it. or a 7m unless it was mint.... just my opinion though.
The car is at the regal auction for the last month or so. THe car was at stampede probably on a trade in or somthing and they could not sell it forever and then they put it in the auction. I am assuming thats what happened, but the car is for sure mint, i like how when you look at the engine bay its not all crowed in there . The turbos look so small like donuts lol

I would get it if its mint! but the turbos usally go at around those ks and should be recond. So i would check turbos for wear first. I have got one it goes well i just put boost up to 14 psi and it is easily faster then stock 7mgte
And they run all day every day on 1 bar boost!!!
Try putting more boost threw stock 7mgte and you wont be getting very far for long! So there are the ups and downs with these motors also i like the fact that they will run past 7000rpm with ease. They are a good very strong engines!
Also if people doubt that they can go real hard i just tell them about my mates single turbo conversion with blitz turbo and a few other external mods.
Stock engine interals still! With factory afm but piggybacked fuel.............
