N20 could be helpful to you in eliminating lag when combined with a progressive controller and you would only need a small shot (50hp) to achieve this .

A 50 hp shot on a turbo engine will give you more power than a 50 hp shot on an n/a and will help to lower your induction temps .

The more n20 you put into your motor the further you,ll need to retard the ignition to prevent detonation probs ( which will make you incredibly slow when off the bottle )

You,ll also need to fit a grade or 2 cooler spark plug as although induction temps are lowered your combustion temps are obviously raised .

Problem with spraying the IC with N2O.

thermal shock and aluminum is higly prone to it. What this means is that you could actually end up cracking the IC due to the massive temprature flux.

I stand against Nitrous use, build a good turbo engine and use an intercooler sprayer and good parts, Nitrous damages the engine over time, is 5 bucks or more per pound to refill, as well as most tanks are 10 to 15 lbs, so yea 5 times 15 every week or so, yikes. Even if you build the motor heavy the boost and the Nitrous will make it require routine torque checks on the head etc and after a while cause a neccesary rebuild, usually twice as fast as if you jjust ran a good hig boost turbo system. Nitrous isn't worth it, Only Supra's I have seen even need it are 900+ HP and even then they use a direct port system to maximize safety and only jet 50 to 75 max 100 to 150 hp shot is excessive. Thats my opinion

Bottle can be used on any motor with zero problems. I ran it on a motor that had hyperutectic pistons and for a couple of years. It is a no no for those pistons and was a 150 shot at that ;)

Supra I ran a lil one but not at the track (only on dyno as I never got a chance to run it with bottle) I plan on a 100-200 shot this time around since my new set-up will be much more advanced. Do the safety with a hob switch and a seperate pump and you will be fine.(research) Just do it right. As far as wear and tear. I am sure it will make things wear but no more than a car running 28 PSI. Now 35PSI and a 150 plus shot might be different so I will let you know when that happens :icon_mrgr
